Program Details

The program requires volunteers to be flexible and work in a range of roles across the hotel. We are a very busy hotel and require our volunteers to be extremely professional, work well as part of a team and adapt to different roles. It is a fast paced role and we have high expectations of our volunteers, in exchange for accommodation and breakfast in our family run hotel!

Activities & Shift

Daily shifts can include a range of activities as detailed in the description and we require all our volunteers to adapt to the needs of the business. Shifts will be in line with the requirements of the hotel.

All volunteers must be customer focused and aware of the customer, this needs to be displayed in their behaviour at all times while staying at the hotel.

For example: be polite and respectful to staff and customers at all times, personally present yourself well, food may only be cooked with agreement from the head chef, food may be stored in the fridge only with agreement of the head chef, Volunteers must clean up after they eat and drink, your living area must be kept clean and tidy, volunteers must arrive for their shift on time, if you are leaving the hotel during your shift you must let a manager know.

The hotel is strictly non-smoking. The consumption of drugs or alcohol whilst working or whilst in the hotel is against the rules and breaks the agreement.

Failure to comply with the above rules, may lead to the need for retraining or the termination of agreement.
