Looking for Farm Help and Equestrians who can help in the yard and Stables - muckout/clean stables /care for/groom/exercise and help with feeding horses/ponies etc.

+ Opportunity to Ride also for a Good competent Rider

Our Yard is Situated in the West Coast of Ireland.

What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Pet Sitting: Taking care of and looking after pets.

Building & Repairing: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Animal Care: Help look after and take care of animals.

What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Basic Internet Access: Basic speed internet for you to work remotely

Requirements

Intermediate English

Over 20 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or partners)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Yard with Performance Ponies and Trekking Centre Horses to be cared for.
Duties include, cleaning/mucking-out, feeding, grooming, leading in and out.

If able to ride there is opportunity to ride out and exercise.
Must have a good level of horsemanship to ride though.
Also an Opportunity to compete during summer season if a very good competent and confident rider.
Preferable to be competent and confident handling horses.

Lots of opportunity to meet other people and practice speaking English.

Activities & Shift

Mornings and afternoon shifts.

Helping with Cleaning Stables, feeding and looking after horses and ponies.

Rules

Must be an Animal Lover.

Non Smoking Position.
