The Exchange

From June 21 to June 30 we will organize a series of meetings, concerts, screenings, book presentations, walks in the woods and much more at our shelter. We hope many people will come and for this reason we are looking for 3 volunteers to help us in the reception, to do the cleaning in the various accommodations and spaces and to cook vegan food (breakfast, lunch and even dinner) for the people who will come.


What you offer

8 hours of help per day

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Cook your own meal: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Language lessons: Take free language classes at our place.

Beginner Italian or Intermediate English

Over 21 years old

Program Details

From June 21 to June 30 we will organize a series of meetings, concerts, screenings, book presentations, walks in the woods and much more at our shelter. We hope many people will come and for this reason we are looking for 3 volunteers to help us in the reception, to do the cleaning in the various accommodations and spaces and to cook vegan food (breakfast, lunch and even dinner) for the people who will come. Practically you will take care with us of all the other volunteers, guests and artists who will spend these 9 days with us and you will have to manage the day off so that no shift remains uncovered. To be able to arrive all loaded and with the right harmony to the day of beginning, we ask you to arrive from June 1 to June 14 to the maximum, so as to have all the time to know the place and its inhabitants and to be prepared and to your ease in the welcome the people who will come.


Activities & Shift

What to do? help us prepare breakfasts and lunches for volunteers, guests and artists; help prepare dinners during events; keep common areas, housing and bathrooms clean; welcome the arriving people


Rules

The daily volunteer hours are 8 with 2 day off per week. It is important that your day offs are agreed between you so that there are always 2 people from this application that cover the shift because there will be other volunteers but they will be busy managing the animals, the vegetable gardens or following the other activities that will be turns and quenching their hunger will be your goal!
