Friendly and welcoming staff, both the fixed ones and the volunteers! The hosts are flexible and nice people!! I really recommend this experience, specially for those willing to learn portuguese!

The best thing at Lisbon chillout is the atmosphere, with a garden, good common dining area, three balconies and three kitchens there are so many venues and chances to meet other travelers if you like. Rebecca speaks 5 (or more?) languages and is such a wonderful and personable resource for all of the guests no matter what type of Lisbon experience they are looking for. I think her mojo permeates into the staff and volunteers because there was so much helpful and friendly energy when I was at the hostel. The work hours are very reasonable and I had plenty of time to explore/chill out.

I had an amazing experience at the hostel. The owners, Rebeca and Joao and the staff working there are really nice! The work is pretty easy, so you will have enough time to enjoy Lisbon.
The enviroment of the hostel is amazing, we were allways making plans and having fun together, it feels like a family.
Definetely, I would love to repeat my experience at Chill Out Hostel. Thank you very much for everything! :)

The hostel itself is pretty and the tasks and hours are fair, guests became my friends and for this I'm grateful. The problem is the management (Rebecca, who won't tell you upfront the feedbacks and wait until they "explode") and surpevision (Ana, who is a bossy and not a leader), since they work on "blind eye" for the errors of the old staff and lack of real communication and fairness, which created a environment of gossips (the staff can't be honest with them, so gossip bad stuff behind their backs). Also, not good for ppl with allergies, is a very old building and cold for lacking heating.

Best of luck with your future Daiane! Rebecca and Ana, the bossy ones 😊
