Permaculture Gardening Intern @ Waterfall Eco Lodge!

The Exchange

We are hoping to find an experienced gardener who wants to spend a few months experiencing life in our slice of jungle. You would be helping us grow food (veggie garden and fruit trees) to feed ourselves and our guests. We need to start more food from seed, and maintain/improve the gardens that we currently have. We also want to plant more fruit trees, and make sure that we are cultivating foods at appropriate times. Growing towards off-grid.

For this position we are asking for a longer term stay (12 weeks min) to help us with more continuity. Interns pay a smaller fee of $5/day (the fee for regular volunteers is $12/day) in exchange for someone who can commit more time and take on more responsibility. We offer all meals of home made food. We serve mostly vegetarian with vegan and gluten free options. You have options for accommodation depending on what is available and what you prefer.

Currently we are a young and growing project. Our growth is slow and organic (a labour of love) because we do everything by hand. Having longer term stays helps us have a more knowledgeable and close knit group!
