I had a good experience at Tiki Beach Hostel, we only work 20 hours per week with lots of time to enjoy Maui. The manager buys food like rice, pasta, sauce, milk, eggs, etc - things that you can use in all your meals. I just spent money buying fruits, vegetables and meat during my time there. The hostel is located in front of the beach in Lahaina, which is a small town but there are plenty of stores, pharmacies, etc. There’s a bus station where you can take the bus to go to other places. The manager is nice but needs to improve his leadership and communication skills. It was worth it tho!

Working at Tiki was truly an unforgettable experience! The host Martin and his wife Shelby created such a welcoming environment, and I loved every second of the 2 months I spent there. The volunteers became like a little family, and I can’t thank everyone enough for making this trip incredible. The working schedule was very flexible which allows you to enjoy the day to explore. I already miss the the nature and the peaceful environment.
Mahalo tiki!

I absolutely loved my stay at tiki. We were with a lot of volunteers. So there was always someone or guests to do fun stuff with. The location is perfect, right at the beach. Sadly after covid they stopped with tours. They are no longer included. It is not a party hostel. But we did have every now and then Argentina BBQ, which was amazing!

I had such a great time at Tiki Beach Hostel. We were 11 stuff memebers, which was great, so we could always do things together. You also get to know so many other people, a lot of Argentines. The work wasnt really hard and I think 20 hours work for living in the hostel directly at the beach is a really good deal. Sometimes we made dinner, like Barbecue, together in the Hostel, went on adventuers or had a beach party at night. Lahaina is a really cute and beautiful town. The front street has a lot of cute shops and nice restaurants. All in all I loved the experience and would always come back

My stay at Tiki Beach was absolutely incredible ! The hostel has the best possible location right by the ocean and the staff is great and welcoming. The management is also super and very flexible. The tasks are super reasonable and are only a total of 20 hours a week ! Maui is amazing and I would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to live a chill hostel life :)
