The Exchange

We organise thematic and language camps for Russian kids. The idea is to improve kids communication skills. So, we do not study grammar, but try to communicate as much as possible. So, during camps, the main tasks are English teaching (2h per day) and communication with kids at any free time, during sports, meals etc.


25 hours of help per week

Teaching Languages: Teach a language to guests or local communities.

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Certificate: Get a certificate of completion after you finish your experience.

Program Details

You are welcome to Finland to the small hostel located in the forest.
We organise programme for children, language and thematic camps for which we would like to invite native and non-native English and Finnish speakers. The camps we organise are directed mainly on children from Russia.

Camp life is fiscally active, enjoyable and positive. Together with kids you will experience success and become more confident, develop long-life skills, reconnect with nature and find new friends.

Activities & Shift

The main task for volunteers is English teaching. We have two hours of English a day with exception of excursion days. Camp lessons is not the same as school ones. It is time of holiday, so we try to make life in camp active, positive and interesting. This also applies to language studies. Games, games and again games.
We do not study grammar in our camps. The main point is communication skills. We develop children communication skills though games, sports, art, music, etc. All your interests and hobbies are good topic for English lessons.


Beforehand we will ask to see and to copy your passport / ID card.
