I had a great experience in Pitlochry as my first volunteering . Staff friendly, hostel organized (good kitchen and common areas) and the manager Toni take care that work and socializing is the best possible.
The city is quite but very beautiful and working for 14 hours I had free time to travel around.
Thanks Toni!!!

It was my first experience and it was amazing. I really liked the people, the staffs and the manager. The city is very good to go hiking. In the hostel there is a common area where we met at night to watch movies or to play cards. I really recommend this place. Thank you for everything Toni.

I had an incredible experience in Pitlochry! The hostel has a perfect location in the middle of the town and next to the rail station. The staff is amazing and Toni, the manager, is so nice and so kind. The hours are negociable and the work is not hard. You get a well served breakfast and you stay in the staff room, it is a four bunk bed room. You have to go prepared to share your space but if you are lucky as I was this is not gonna be a problem.
The city is really charming and close to a lot of famous Scotland locations.
I stayed for a month and reccomend for everyone.

As a hostel experience, the backpackers was flawless. You're going to share a room with other volunteers and it can get crowded if at full capacity (8), but that also means the work is quick and simple, and usually done with other people, so not that tiring. The hostel is great, surrounded by a beautiful area - in Pitchlochry you're close to a lot of famous places on the highlands and, for fans, a lot of Outlander filming locations ;). But still the best part was the people! Toni and the team are amazing! They were super friendly and made me feel very welcome. Thanks, guys, I'll miss you!

This has been my first work experience away from home and I am so glad that I did it here. I have learned a lot and met so many amazing people.
The hostel itself is right in the heart of Pitlochry and has a very unique charm to it. Pitlochry has many hikes and is bustling with tourists.
The manager will not only try to make the guests feel welcome, but also us volunteers. So the work and hours are very fair and with the right co-volunteers they’ll be fun.
I volunteered there for a month and a half and could have stayed even longer. I really recommend this place so so much.
