My experience at St. James was great because the staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful, the vibe of the hostel was also really good. The dinner with the staff and guest was a big plus to have a chat which everyone and create a family environment.
The hostel is huge and sometimes there is a lot of job to needs to be done and sometimes can be really quiet, but overall the task are not hard. My position as a receptionist support were mostly clean the common areas and keep the hostel as tidy as possible during my shift.

My experience at Saint James Backpackers was good. I have been able to meet many people from different countries and cultures. This way I have been able to improve my English level and visit the city of London thanks to the good location!

It was my first time as a volunteer, happy for all the work done painting the garden and my stay there has been a really good experience, that will make me grow. The hostel was perfect with a good location and the staff really friendly. And as you told me is very possible when i find time i could come back to paint something else and be in London a little more. Thanks for everything and see you next time!

Saint James Backpackers was my first experience as a Worldpackers volunteer and it was great times! I’ve felt more confident to share skills and learn new cultures at any other country and place. The guests were really friendly, the staff really welcoming and the hostel has an excellent location. I improved my English; I increased my knowledge about how a hostel works; learned about hospitality and was in contact with many other languages and English accents.
