Program Details

This project is a bakery, making and supplying bread to local people from the adjacent compound (low income housing) to start up their own businesses as bread sellers. This business activity enables them to feed their families and get ahead in life. We also run a bakery shop from the same premises selling bread, cakes and bakery items to the public, and would like to expand this to include a restaurant/pizzeria. All of our profits are made into bread and we supply orphanages, schools, prisons and other charities on a daily basis with bread for everyone.
We are also starting an agricultural project, setting up community gardens for local people from the compound that don’t have land to plant. This will also provide the bakery/restaurant with our vegetables and we would like to set up a roadside pop up store selling our produce and the produce of the people involved in the community
