The Exchange

Daily Activities: Coffee harvest assistant. Learn what goes into that cup of Joe every one enjoys. Get your hands dirty working with our indigenous Indian workers. Volunteers will work directly with the farm owner.


Title

25 hours of help per week

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

Damarli Estate is a specialty coffee farm located in the foothills of the Baru Volcano in Boquete, Panama. During the harvest we annually host volunteers to assist with different activities on the estate. The coffees that assistants work with are world class coffees being sold on auctions and internationally (USA, Europe, Taiwan, China...) This is a unique experience where assistants live on a coffee east and get to work in the ever more prestigious Panamanian coffee industry.


Activities & Shift

Volunteers will be expected to assist in day end harvest collecting, floating, and drying activities. During the day their are different activities one can choose to participate in.

1. Respect each member of our harvest team.
2. Be a participating member in daily household activities. (cooking, cleaning,washing.....)
