Program Details

We love having worldpackers around, they carry the travel vibe with them which adds so much to the hostel atmosphere. But we also expect them to be commited to the job they signed up for, we know worldpackers are travelling and not working, but there is an agreement set up which needs to be upheld with a level of responsability.
In exchange we offer a warm and familiar atmosphere, a wonderfull and amazing city, a chance to meet people from all over the world, and two kind bosses who are always open for debate ;-).

Activities & Shift

We work in 3 shifts: morning shift (breakfast and reception), afternoon shift (cleaning) and evening shift (reception). Worldpackers are trained for all 3 of them and are expected to do all the tasks.

Rules

We expect our Worlpackers to communicatie openly and honestly with us.
We provide training on every part of the job and expect the tasks to be done as explained and with responsibility. Every week a work schedule is presented which is up for discussion but only upto a certain level. We are flexible and willing to adapt the schedule sometimes if travel plans have been made, but as mentioned in the intro, weekends are especially busy so we need our Worldpackers most on those days.
Leaving the hostel before the agreed date is not accepted.
