The Experience

Daily life at Provstegården B&B is about creating a good experience for our guests. Our beautiful old garden needs to be cared for and kept according to the season. There is pruning, weeding and much more. As a volunteer gardener, you will have to work 4 days a week and have 3 days off. You can often plan your working day yourself. The work is outside.

The best volunteer experience I have ever had, in every aspect. Helene is an incredible host, with a big heart, kind, fair and very caring. The working hours were respected, she gave me time off, she never let me lack anything, even gave me more than I expected. She was super understanding, prepared typical Danish food and took me on walks. The accommodation was super comfortable. I helped out more with housekeeping and gardening. My experience working this summer was fantastic. I highly recommend it to anyone. The team was incredibly thoughtful and supportive, always ensuring that I was comfortable and had everything I needed. From the very beginning, they made me feel welcome and appreciated. What stood out the most was how much they cared about me. Not only were the tasks simple and easy to manage, but they also made sure to take me wherever I needed to go, which made my time there even more enjoyable. Simply the best 2 months of my life! Amazing house in the countryside, Helene and Melania are super sweet and the job is easy and nice. They help you get to places and I traveled a lot in Denmark, and the landscape of the city is perfect to reconnect with nature and find peace and quiet. 100% recommend to have the best time of your life! They are super flexible with with time and always help with the daily tasks as well, everything is perfect :)

It was a fantastic experience for me. I recommend it to everyone. Helene and Melania were kind and helpful; you could talk to them about everything. I received a warm welcome, and my stay there was enjoyable. I had the opportunity to explore Denmark better, which was significantly contributed by the people there. I had the chance to try different homemade Danish dishes; they were amazingly delicious. The Hotel itself is beautiful and clean; I enjoyed staying there. The nature surrounding the Hotel was excellent and magical. I am grateful for everything.
