The Exchange

We need volunteers to be part of our educational program for children. These Peruvian children need to be attended, loved, cared, assisted to develop their self-teem, self-confidence, to face the life with a positive personality with the required tools to success in their own accomplishment. Therefore you can attend our after school program and help children from 4-14 years with their homework on weekdays for 3-4 hours in the afternoon.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Social Work: Help the local community.

Teaching Languages: Give language lessons to guests or local community.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!

Cook your own meal: Feel free to prepare your own meal here

Free Laundry: There's a special place where all the clothes get cleaned for free.

Program Details

The children need help with their homework. This can be Mathematics, English, Spanish, Religion, Geometrics etc. The kids are 4-14 years old and are going to be very happy when you can explain them their homework. Normally the working hours are from 15:00-18:00. After having finished their homework the children are allowed to play for about an hour until 19:00. It would be nice if you could participate in those social games, so that they develop their social skills.

Rules

We ask for a additional monetary contribution to the worldpacker reservation fee for your expenses such as Wi-Fi, electricity, laundry, food and gas of $450 Soles per week in a shared bedroom. Travel/Health Insurance required.
