I had a very good experience for two weeks at Rua, and can definitly recommend the hostel. The standard of the facilities is very high, the tasks are easy and good people around. It was low season while I was there, which made the work more relaxed. The manager, Luisa, can seem strict in single occasions, but is in reality very kind and easy to work under.

It's really like the slogan says: "Feel like home" (or better). The hostel is amazing, there are two pools, air conditioning in the rooms and a delicious breakfast. But the best part while I was there was the staff: Luisa, Santiago, Marina and (of course) Rua, the cat that lives there, and also, who was my partner in the night shifts. If one day I return to Santa Marta, it is mainly gonna be for the bonds that I got in this place.

It was such a nice experience. We stayed in Rua for only two weeks, but we got to know really good people and we could also enjoy Santa Marta and the cities around since we had the weekends off. The hostel is really clean and organized and we basically take care of the reception. I really recommend it!

My two weeks at Rua were incredible! The hostel is really a nice place. The tasks were simple, and the staff and Volunteers who were already there helped me a lot, making the learning process easier. It was really good to be at the reception and welcome and meet people from different countries. I definitely recommend the experience at Rua..Thanks Juan Pablo, Marina, Águeda for all.

Being a volunteer in Rua it's been quite an experience! Even though I was here just for two weeks I learned a lot about running a hostel. Juan Pablo, Jimena y Marina have been very kind, welcoming and flexible with me. Besides, the hostel is really beautiful and confortable. I hope Rua keep growning.

Gracias por permitirme ser parte del equipo. Hasta pronto.
