This was my best experience so far on WorldPackers. The guys who work here (Artur and his wife Dana) are really really nice people. The hostel is also really nice, I've met a lot of amazing people here and every second of my stay was great. I think it's a big plus if you speak Russian (which i unfortunately don't speak) because you can get closer to more guests. Still most of the guests spoke English. I can only recommend this experience.

Amalienhof hostel is a cosy and nice hostel set in the center of Riga, 15 minute walk from old town and touristic attractions.
The hostel itself, its position and the staff I worked with were excellent!
Just two weaks points: kitchen is simply equipped (friddge, kettle, microwave: sometimes meal preparation could be challenging) and in case hostel would be fully booked, you are supposed to sleep in reception.
