The Experience

We need to improve our solar energy equipment in our ecolodge in the jungle in Guatemala. We need a solar energy expert to design and install our solar energy system for the entire ecolodge. The person interested in applying to this volunteering needs to have experience in similar projects.

Learning & Fun

United States

I stayed in Antigua and volunteered at the new Hostel Tinka. I helped to develop the menu and cook new items that would be on the menu. It was a great time the staff was very friendly and Sebastian was very kind. They had some delays with the opening of the place, so I am sure next time it would be even better. I would encourage anyone to go because Sebastian is very nice and communicative and Antigua is a beautiful city I loved being there.

Costa Rica

It was an awsome experience, the place, the people, the work were amazing. I learnt a lot and enjoyed every minute in El Sombrero Ecolodge.

The place looks like paradise! Food is really good you'll get home-made bread and tortillas everyday. People in Guatemala are very sweet and friendly. Gabriella and her sons are very interesting people, she knows a lot about archeology/culture/boats/botanic/ lots of things, I had great conversations!! <3
