The Experience

There are a lot of things to be done all year round, including the care of the vegetable garden, the provision of holidays and seminars, but also wood-making mowing; there are also smaller construction works. The next major construction project is the construction of a hobbit house made of clay and straw. I would be very happy to be your host. All the best, Philippe.

I had a great time at le the eco village. Philippe is truly welcoming and the space is beautiful. Eating fresh from the garden every day is truly an experience. The work is demanding, yet satisfying. The agreed upon hours that are worked are always upheld. This was my first experience with worldpackers, and what a way to get it started.

I enjoyed my time at the eco village. Phillippe is a good teacher for life. Even sometimes he gets to have very strong opinions but you could talk hours with him about different subjects if you like to. Also I shared with another volunteers from different countries so it was a real Internacional exchange. If you like to have time for your own you will have a solo room and also lovely nature all around you. As far as there are any festival or fair he will propose to take you all. Thanks Phillippe, and volunteers for such a good experience.

This was my first Worldpackers experience and I hade an amazing time. Phillipe is a very kind host who makes sure that you feel welcome. He plans many activities that allow you to see the local area and experience new things. The work is very interesting and I learned many skills from gardening to painting and plastering. Thank you Phillipe!

During my experience, I managed to learn some skills like gardening and painting, which I had never done before and Phillipe(the host) made sure to well explain to us, volunteers, what we had to do. The working hours are fixed throughout the whole time and Phillipe is very punctual and makes sure that we don't work overtime. We were also able to go to some events that were happening around during the weekends. The food we ate were always very fresh from the many vegetables that grow in the garden. The surroundings are also very calm and natural. Overall, it was a nice experience.

The days at the eco village were very nice. The place is full of activities and the host is always planning the next ones. It's a bit far from the city but Philippe is always available to give a ride when needed. Also, he is a great teacher and gives nice instructions on how to do each activity. But keep in mind that he is very honest about the results. If it's not good, he'll let you know. And this is all part of the personal growth, try to learn from it. Ahhh, the menu is vegetarian and sometimes it will your turn to cook. Open your mental cookbook and be creative.
