The Exchange

We have a big beautiful garden and a vegetable garden that need lots of love. Dutties can include: cutting grass and bushes, making signs, planting flowers, decorating garden, building fire pits, working with rocks and stones, build pathways, mixing dirt, planting seeds, weeding, watering daily, harvesting, building a green house among other projects.


What you offer

5 hours of help per day

Painting & Decorating: Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.

Farming: Plant crops, sow seeds and help in outside tasks.

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens


What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Drinks: Get discounts for drinks and beverages from our bar.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.


Requirements

Beginner English or Beginner Spanish

Between 18 and 45 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Please remember this is WORK exchange not a PLAY away.
Volunteers will be asked for 5 hours of quality work everyday and the rest of the time will be yours to enjoy Puerto Varas.
We are looking for hardworking, experienced, organized, independent, smart and energetic individuals that will not need a lot of supervision and have the initiative to see what needs to be done and do it.


Activities & Shift

5 hours everyday, shifts may vary in the morning or afternoon and/or evening.
2 days off.


Rules

Non-smoking inside , no outside guests and no pets.
We like to start with a trial basis of one week, and then we can discuss a longer term if it works out.
You need to have a phone that you can text or email for communication while you are here.
A passport or ID will need to be provided at arrival.
