What a great experience at the Center. The place is super well located in the outskirts of Popayan giving you access to lots of nature and the city. the Center is super peaceful and have great energy. Don Edgar is a truly caring and interesting person with lots of wisdom and jokes to share. The only issue is that it can be hard to communicate with him because he can't hear very well. Just something to be aware of and something that can be easily navigated by speaking louder and getting his attention before hand. The workload is very light and there's lot of freedom to accommodate your needs

I stayed at the Center just for 1 week, and I had a good experience. Edgar the owner is a very nice and kind person and he tried to teach me a little bit about sustainable construction, we talked about spirituality, local history and and local indiginous communities. Unfortunately, communication was sometimes a challange, since I only speak basic spanish and Edgar doesnt speak english. Also, that week I was the only volunteer there, and I wish there were other volunteers to interact with. All in all the experience was good and I recomand this project!! Thank you Edgar!!

The Center is a beautiful place within nature and with fantastic artwork. Edgar seems knowledgable about many spiritual aspects and is happy to share his knowledge with you which is great. We had the pleasure to also explore Popayan and visit some local places. From my experience, the host needs to improve his communication skills and make clear what he needs from the volunteers on the day of arrival and each day. Also, its important to note that with just basic spanish (as noted in the ad) communication is impossible.

The experience in the Center is spiritual, nature connecting and interesting. The host, Edgar is very interesting and welcomeing person. He makes you feel home. I recommend to travelers the Center if they want to get some spiritual experience.

Lo pasé muyyy bien aquí en el centro. Si eres una persona a quien le gusta estar en la naturaleza y aprender sobre la cultura local, te recomiendo este lugar. Queda bastante cerca a la ciudad de Popayán pero todavía se siente en el campo y en la naturaleza fuera del ruido de la ciudad. Edgar es un tipo genial, siempre tiene cosas muy interesantes que contar y trata su mejor para hacerte sentir en casa. El lugar es increíble con muchas cosas interesantes que descubrir. Si quieres quedar será mejor que hablas algo de español. Gracias hermano Edgar!!
