The Experience

Volunteers will teach in local primary school and in a training center for young girls. After school hours, they'll do normal house chores with host family, like cleaning the compound, cooking, watering garden, doing the dishes. They'll have breakfast at 7am and leave for school around 7:30. Lunch at 1230. After lunch, doing dishes and cleaning the compound. Short rest, prepare dinner. After dinner little chat with hosts before going to bed :)

Four stars for this volunteering experience as I was the first volunteer so there is place for improvement. Host family does not speak good english so the communication was sometimes difficult. Loved the fact that we were placed very locally, in the same village where the school was, on a walking distance. Organizators are helpful and kind. Lovely nature around Kilimanjaro area :)
