The Exchange

This is a cool job that will let you see Santiago in a different way and share your time with incredible people. Our hostel feels like a home and we care for each other, here you will find a family. We are open to new ideas, we want you to embrace your creativity and help our hostel to grow. Here everything is possible.


What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Housekeeping: Exchange and wash bed linens. Make the beds.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and attend to guests.

Night Shift: Help with night tasks to make the place relaxing for all guests

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Requirements

Intermediate Spanish and Intermediate English

Between 25 and 40 years old

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

You'll have the chance to deal with people from all over the world, get in touch with different cultures, learn reception procedures and how it is to work on a hostel and from the third week on our volunteers will have access to some tours offered by partner agencies.


Activities & Shift

Our partner volunteers will mostly have reception shifts, but they'll also be asked to help with breakfast, housekeeping and some other extra activity that may happen at the hostel.


Rules

We expect to have nice cheerful people around to compose our team, respect is mandatory both among staff members and our guests. Visitors are welcome at the hostel common areas, but never in the bedrooms.
