Program Details

We are an innovative family-run NGO based in rural Kampong Chhnang and transforming the lives of local youths through practical education and sustainable growth initiatives. Everyday we teach about 140 of the sweetest and most well-behaved students, that attend the school for daily English classes, as well as other motivational and character building programs.

Activities & Shift

The school is located in Kbal Damrei village, 20 minutes away from the National 5 highway road. The village has a local restaurant and bar with a few shops and a pharmacy nearby, but other than that it's mostly just rice fields and rice farmers! On the weekends you may go to nearby provinces (Kampong Chhnang is only 2 hours away from Phnom Penh!) to explore some of Cambodia's hidden gems and best kept secrets.

Rules

We provide accommodation at the school in the family house with mattresses, bed sheets, fans and mosquito nets. The accommodation is basic, but comfortable and spacious (mixed-dorm).

We provide free lunch and dinner everyday, including a variety of delicious Cambodian dishes accompanied by homegrown rice. Most meals contain meat and a wide range of organic fruit and vegetables that are also grown on site. The school also has shops and market nearby that sells a variety of snacks, bread and cold drinks.
