Volunteers work 5 days of the week, 5 hours a day. The work mainly includes general hostel work, checking people in and out, interacting with guests, running events, bartending, promoting, cooking and cleaning. Daily we also have our ¨beer run¨ where we need to help bring the stock up the volcano, so you must be fit! And ready for a challenge! We also run a community project in a village near by where we run English classes during the week and various other programs. Over the past 2 years we have had construction projects, womens groups, piñata making courses, nutrition and mental health workshops. Volunteers are free to get involved in any of our community work and we are always looking for teachers!

In exchange for our volunteers hard work they receive 7 nights accomodation, 3 meals a day for the 5 days they are working, and 50% off drinks!
