The Experience

In my life I did everything! I like to share knowledge, experiences, hobbies, work...life! I love curious and interested people, with a great desire to learn, to do, to be useful, with a practical sense, good sociality. I don't like philosophies, dogmas, taboos. I will make available all I can. I live alone on the farm and I ask for your help in managing the house, vegetable garden/garden work, making wood for heating, home refurbishing.

the relationship with Pino was good, during my stay I learned a lot of the language, the Italian culture and its gastronomy, also I learned a lot about nature, Pino is a good person and an excellent cook, I recommend volunteers when they choose an experience, keep in mind that nature can sometimes be rough and complicated.

Juliano is a fantastic person, with enormous knowledge of pruning. I stayed for a month at his house and during that period Julian always did his best to make me feel comfortable, while I was there I had the opportunity to learn more about Italian culture and customs. He took me to travel in many places where he knew tell me the story of all important points that we visited. Another very important thing, Julian is an excellent cook, especially when cooking pasta. As for day-to-day activities, work sometimes requires a little more energy, but I have no doubt that the experience was amazingt.

Pino lives in a very calm, relaxing and beautiful area. His home is very comfortable with good food available . He has a very deep knowledge about the Italian agriculture and an AMAZING COOK! Some advices is that he expects you to be super proactive by guessing what he wants you to do. He reacts surprisingly bad with questions (and that often lead us to misunderstandings) so look and remember everything he says and do to avoid unnecessary questions. He is overall a good person, he tried to give the best experience possible to my girlfriend and amazing suggestions of places to visit. Thank you

I came to this place with good intentions and ended up leaving early. The first day I arrived the kitchen was very filthy and the bread I was given to eat was moldy. Most of the food that was in the fridge was expired. Pino was very nervous at work, cutting wood very close to us with the chainsaw, and he was aggressive towards me many times. A few days after I left, I learned that he had somehow contacted my next Worldpackers host by phone to persuade her to cancel my stay by making wrong accusations on me! I find this whole attitude awful, I do not recommend this host at all to any volunteer!

Pino replied

Surely with Emile there were huge communication problems (but not only), when I tried to speak you said that you didn't understand my English (it's not impossible, it's bad!) With the help of the translator I wrote you an email with a series of questions that are still awaiting an answer.
If in private (as happened with the host where you had to go) some people ask me what you did and how you behaved, I can only tell what I saw and heard (the volunteers talk to each other, I don't think it's a crime if even hosts talk to each other!).
NEVER I would say don't go to him or don't take him or don't hang out with him...
in fact I wish you to find many hosts who understand what interests you and how they can communicate with you, I have not been able and I'm so sorry.

For the accusations that you make me, I hope that other reviews may deny them, it would be ridiculous and very inelegant to tell and/or answer here.
