The Experience

Hi, I love hosting volunteers from various countries and build a small community at my place. This small farm provide a warm and fun place for volunteers to interact with Korean young children and adults who are interested to practise their English with English speaking people. We plant strawberries, tomatoes, sweet potatoes, watermelon depending on the season.

This was my first volunteering experience and it's been amazing. Sam is the best host you can ask for and the food they provide is really good. The work is also very easy. I enjoyed staying here a lot and meeting new people. I would definitely want to come back again!

This was my first worldpackers experience and I really liked it! I stayed there for 2 weeks but really wish I had stayed longer. It's a very social place and everyone could talk together! The work is not difficult at all and everyone is working together so it's never boring. After work there's plenty of opportunities to do things together or on your own. Go for a walk around the area or take the bus into Gimhae for example. If you want to explore Busan it is not too far away to go on days off. A really good experience that I would recommend to anyone wanting to spend some time in Korea!

Everyday at Cloudberry was a happy one. The host is very friendly and flexible, and always doing his best for the volunteers. We were also taken on many amazing road trips and had plenty of chances to experience the local culture. The food was home mad and very delicious. And the most important thing - I always felt at home in Cloudberry thanks to the people that work and volunteer there :). I am very grateful and happy to have had the opportunity to stay there.

Cloudberry is a very special place. My first Worlpackers experience and the bar has been set high! I've felt very grateful staying here and meeting lovely people- hosts and volunteers alike. Sam is the absolute best and goes out of his way to give you a great time. The vibe is good, the food is amazing and the location is lovely - Gimhae is prettier than I expected, it's a great area to bike around and from the bus terminal you can easily get to wherever you want to go. The type and amount of work depends on the season and customers, so it varies, but felt meaningful always. I will come back!
