Help at the green mango permaculture farm
We are looking for skill-full individuals to help us to build up the green mango farm project.
Farm and permaculture skills are welcomed to help build up the farm and animal systems, as also related skills in carpentry to help improve or extend the existing infrastructures.
Activities can include but are not limited to: farm work, gardening, animal care and feeding, online marketing, cooking, working with tourists, teaching permaculture...
25 hours of help per week
Help with painting, graffiti, sculpting or drawing.
Painting & Decorating:
Help with painting or decorating the property facilities.
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get

You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

What's not included
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
We are offering 1 to 3 volunteers positions on our project site to work with our laos team. In exchange we offer free accommodation and 1 set lunch a day after the morning session with the rest of the team. You can also use some of the produce of the farm (depending availability) for breakfast and diner but its not setted up.
In order to offer you a legal framework during your stay and to respect Laos regulations we prefer you to volunteer on an education visa (1 month stay, renewable twice). Thats why we ask volunteers to engage for a minimum stay of 3 weeks to 1 month. The cost for the visa is around 100$/ month. We will help you in the procedure.
During your stay you will also get the opportunity to participate in our workshops and certified trainings that we organize in collaboration with Eco Asia, a sustainable online platform that we host at the green mango farm.
Activities & Shift
Work load is usually half day (7.30 am-11.30 am) but you are welcome to join into the afternoon farm sessions with the rest of the team or work on more office related activities if you feel like.
You will get a great benefit from a cultural exchange in our community.
This is a living farm and community project for those who would like to learn and be empowered, to take care of themselves and the Nature and to move on to a more healthy lifestyle.
We are looking for dedicated and autonomous people who a willing to learn, contribute and live in a multi cultural community.
Please note that THE CENTER IS LEARNING BASED. So it is not the place for drinking every night.
But Laotians are very festive and we have occasionally celebrations or ceremonies running including music, food, drinks, talks, sports etc...
