I do not recommend this hostel as an experience! The structure is super precarious, when I arrived I was sent to my room which to my surprise was tiny, dark and stinky where they put 6 people inside without the minimum structure or hygiene !! Your things have to be all in the bag because there is no space or place to put them! To make matters worse together sleeps the hostel manager who does not shower and was always drunk! I should have stayed 3 months but was sent away by the owner after 3 weeks because I did not agree to clean the bathroom floors on my knees with a small brush!

This has been the best experience I’ve had in a while. I became friends with incredible people from all over Europe and the world, I felt at home right after I stepped in. Thank you Stephen for having me, thank you Will for loving your job and thank you to all the staff members and guests!

My experience at St. James was great because the staff was amazing, super friendly and helpful, the vibe of the hostel was also really good. The dinner with the staff and guest was a big plus to have a chat which everyone and create a family environment.
The hostel is huge and sometimes there is a lot of job to needs to be done and sometimes can be really quiet, but overall the task are not hard. My position as a receptionist support were mostly clean the common areas and keep the hostel as tidy as possible during my shift.

My experience at Saint James Backpackers was good. I have been able to meet many people from different countries and cultures. This way I have been able to improve my English level and visit the city of London thanks to the good location!
