Fun, easy going volunteers needed to organise activities

The Exchange

We are looking for a volunteer who will help run our little hostel in Unawatuna. We need someone who is fun (sense of humor is a bonus!) easy to talk to, enjoys socializing and has no problem with cleaning and helping around the hostel. If you are a get-up and go kind of person and don't float around then we need you. We are currently looking for someone to help with organizing activities and socializing with the guests.

Program Details

The hostel is situated on the mountain in a Sinhalese village, we like to engage with our neighbors and to learn about the culture everyday. My partner is born and raised in Unawatuna so he will teach our Sinhalese or anything you would like to know about Sri Lanka.

Activities & Shift

We need someone to help with the check ins and making the beds during the mornings. After this you will have most of the day free until the evening when we will need help with preparing for our dinner nights and socialising with the guests.

We cannot give you free alcohol because of the cost so you will be able to purchase as the price we buy it.
If we feel that you are here entirely for the free food and accommodation then we will ask you to move on.
