Program Details

Our volunteers meet a lot of Koreans during their stay and live in a cozy dormitory, 15 minutes away from the academy. We have people from all over the world who are always open to new friendships and hanging out together!
People who will stay with you in the accommodation are also looking for new experiences just like you, so you will have a very high chance of making good friends from all other countries as you will be spending so much time with them.
After the shifts, the volunteers can have dinner together or hang out with Koreans they meet during sessions as well as their new foreign housemates. Since you will meet people with tons of different backgrounds, jobs, and characters you will learn what real Korea and even the whole globe it is.

Activities & Shift

The main goal during the shifts is to help Koreans to improve their English skills. You will talk to Koreans in English, creating a comfortable environment for making mistakes and exploring new vocabulary, sharing your knowledge with them, and vice-versa.
We have a wide range of ages and levels! So you should adapt to them. That's why English fluency is vital, so before we confirm your stay an English interview could be asked. You will meet different groups or people for each session and so many opportunities to make new friends will come!

You will be assigned to talk to 1 to 3 Koreans for 4 sessions that last 50 minutes long, having a 10-minute break in between. We have a weekly schedule in which you need to complete 20 hours in at least 5 days.

Rules

Our staff and the place itself are very chill and laid back so there's not so much of a strict policy but one thing that we are strict about is punctuality and courtesy.
If you could just show up on time and be gentle with our students, there won't be anything else to worry about!
