I'm so grateful to had the opportunity to make this wonderful experience, I felt welcomed from the first moment and part of the staff, I met wonderful people who helped me to improve my language skills, to acquire a new perspective of the world and to know new beautiful cultures... The shifts may seem heavy at first, but after a few days you get used to it and it gets easier, thanks to the teamwork and the whole staff support! If you are intent on discovering something more about yourself and collecting new memories that will always be part of your heart, this is definitely the right place! XX

I had a great time volunteering at this hostel. For a first experience, I recommend it. The work is easy but can be exhausting at first, you might need time to adapt (housekeeping shift). The location is top, everything is nearby 10 min city center, supermarket etc. You will meet a lot of amazing people and the staff is a good team with a friendly atmosphere. I have good memories and I'm thankful for this experience :)

Such a fun experience at the hostel :) I got to meet so many incredible people, from staff to volunteers to guests. I really enjoyed my 2 months there and didn't want to leave! The actual job is pretty easy and you never work more than 5 hours at a time. One of the best benefits of volunteering here is that you can visit the other the hostel locations for free, giving you a chance to explore the rest of Portugal on your days off. I highly recommend this experience for anyone who is looking for a fun time and a way to meet new people!

My month at the hostel was so much fun, mostly because of the staff at the hostel and the volunteers, they were all amazing people. The work can be annoying sometimes, but it is definitely manageable. You should know that life in a big hostel like this is very chaotic, sharing the volunteer room with 5 other volunteers and the bathrooms and kitchen with dozens of guests, but if that's no problem for you it's a lot of fun. Also the location is great, it is right by all the bars in Bairro alto and close to the center. I am very thankful for this experience and will miss everyone <3

This was my first volunteering experience and it could not be better. Hostel is extremely friendly, welcoming and cosy. It is perfect if you want to meet a lot of people because it is very social and there is always so much going on in the hostel. Probably the thing I loved the most was community in hostel. Location is amazing everything is maximum 10-20min by walking from hostel and it is peaceful at night. Work is very fair for what we get even though making beds can be tiring is definitely worth it. I really loved that during your free days
