We need daily help in renovating an old farm that we would like to change into a nature friendly permacultural guest farm. We're just at the beginning of this big project and we spend our days either inside breaking down and then rebuilding or outside planting trees and bushes. A lot of hard work in a beautiful landscape! You'll work in teams with us and will be totally guided in the work to do. Meals are cooked with local and organic products.Learn more

The experience in Le Chant des Pierres was absolutely wonderful. I was given the opportunity to live with a lovely and charming french family in a house situated in the countryside with breathtaking landscapes. The experiencia let you feel like another member of the family having the possiblity to immerse yourself into the French culture.
The work is interesting and entertaining and you'll be able to learn about sustentability and permaculture. I would definitely recommend this experience to any volunteer who is willing to connect with the French culture and nature.

As this was my first Worldpackers experience I cannot compare, but I think this was the best possible stay! Adelaide and Paul gave me the feeling to be 110 % welcomed and are smart & nice persons with humour. It was my pleasure to have talks with Adelaide who is spreading love on each and eveything around. They try to adept tasks to your preferences (as far as possible, some things just have to be done). Also it was fine to try out what I think was a "good way" to do things as they are open to ideas. The kids are heaven (also hell sometimes :D) if it got too loud, I just "escaped" to my room.

My experience at Le chant de Pierres was great! They are a very friendly family, enjoy good times, good food and walks outside. Near towns with a lot of history, during my visit I was, Sarlat-la-Canéda, Salignac-Eyvigues, Chateau de Rocamadour and we enjoyed a picnic in the Dordogne river.
Thanks Adelaide, Paul & the kids! ✨🇨🇵

It was so fast, cause I had to leave because of family emergency, but was amazing! Paul and Adeline are great, and their kids even more. The job is hard, but totally worth, the place for the volunteers is perfect, our own space, with privacy, close to the nature and a lot of learning... life, permaculture, French. Be read for Wednesday with the kids, its a lot of energy!

I recommend this experience to everyone. I stayed there for more than two months and since the first day they make feel part of the family. Paul and Adelaide are so kind and they help you with everything you need. They have 4 lovely kids whoms you will going to miss them all.
The tasks was really good, they explain you all and never leave you alone, so if you need something to ask in the middle you can do it, and they going to answer you with a big smile. The meals was soooo good too, Ade cooks very well with organic products.
I leave this place with amazing memories.
