The Exchange

We'd love to have a responsible and organized person, who wants to learn / be in charge of all the processes that revolve around a guest house (experience with managing is a “plus” but not a “must-have”). Someone that’s able to look at the big picture, not only understand but also improve our processes so they can become more efficient.


What you offer

20 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.


What you get

2 days off per week

Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Requirements

Intermediate Spanish or Beginner English

Over 20 years old

Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs


What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa


Program Details

Some of the processes this person would be responsible are:
• coordinate the volunteers and their tasks
• manage booking/volunteer platforms
• keep our social media up to date
• make sure the guests are comfortable and if they need something
You'll be in contact with the owner of the house, with full support about our processes. A must is wanting to learn, experience with managing is a “plus” but not a “must-have”. (:


Activities & Shift

Volunteers - including this position - work 4h a day, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours. It's up to you to see if the work has been done as well as keep needs and tasks up to date.
