Up The Creek is looking for a volunteer! In exchange of 20 hours work per week, we will provide you with free accommodation in our 7 co-ed dorm or 14' caravan. Work duties will include cleaning, gardening, building maintenance, lawn care, painting,...(inside and outside work) If you have a specific skill set, please tell us! During Covid 19 we can only accept Canadian residents, though normally welcome foreigners. We do not arrange work visas.
20 hours of help per week
Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.
Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.
Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
2 days off per week
Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.
Shared Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other travelers.
Tent: You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Discounts on Restaurants: Get discounts at nearby restaurants.
Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.
Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

We are looking for a professional and friendly person, who is willing to live with guests around, and be friendly and welcoming .
We are looking for a social person, somebody who is happy to talk with us and the guests.
The usual shift is 10am to 2pm - but it can change.
We need the hostel to be clean and ready to welcome people at 4pm.
Cleaning is part of the daily activities, but there will be construction work as well, renovation, painting, taking care of the lawn and the outside of the property.
Non-smoker for the cold season, as you will stay in the dorm - and we want to avoid the cigarette smell.
