The Exchange

We are looking for a volunteer helping with the online bookings and keeping up with the records. The bookings should be checked at least 3 times a day to avoid overbooking the hostel.In the time between checking the online bookings and keeping up the records, the volunteers have the opportunity to hang out at the beach, go surfing, do yoga on the beach or have a nice cool drink during happy hour. Furthermore, Mirissa is well known for whale watch


25 hours of help per week

Social Media: Help to build and maintain social media channels engaging online users.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and attend to guests.

Party Promoter: Help to promote parties and social activities.

Administration: Help with booking systems and payments.

Program Details

We work as a family and help out if a member of staff is absent , your ideas and input on how things can make the hostel better is much appreciated.

Activities & Shift

helping with the online bookings and keeping up with the records. The bookings should be checked and reply reviews and talk to guest for good reviews. Work times are flexible as long as the 25 hours a week is done


The hostel has rules on the notice board and for the staff/volunteers they should not be broken, your rules will be told by the manager on arrival.
