The experience

Allrounders welcome! It’s a farm – there is wood, machinery and always something to fix! If you have professional experience in construction or carpentry and extensive knowledge of woodworks and repair works or other related skills, this is the place for you. Help me with maintenance tasks: drive a tractor, general maintenance, woodwork, Help fix machines! It will be a lot of fun!

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Bikes at your disposal: You can use our bikes any time you want.

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Requirements

Intermediate English or Beginner Swedish

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Program Details

Hey! I'm Paul I own Sweden's largest alpaca farm with over 100 alpacas, I have three children. Liam (18), Dylan (7) and Oscar (4). We also have a Bed & Breakfast, swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna. We've been lucky to win the best B&B in Sweden on booking sites successively for five years and have a rating on another of 9.7 and the third 4.9 thanks to great guests and fantastic staff.

The farm has 100 alpacas, 3 lamas, peacocks, hens, a kitten named Sexy, and of course the farm dog.

Rules

We kindly ask you to apply only if you are fully suitable for one of these positions. Please clarify in your message which position you are applying for.

All volunteers must be socially capable, comfortable around children and animals, and have a “lets do this” attitude. Self-initiative is very important – so is positivity!

Be flexible, treat my place as it was your own ! Respect and hard work !! :)

The minimum stay is 4 weeks.
