Program Details

To volunteer at our organization we follow our procedure which also can be found on our web-page: https://www.ahhaeducation.org/volunteer-2020/

First, we need the following documents from you.
1. Application form (filled);
2. Motivation/Cover Letter;
3. CV
4. Written Confirmation that you agree to the 'terms and conditions'

After evaluating your application, we will contact you and schedule a video call. During this video call, both parties can clarify any concerns and get to know each other well. It is like an interview, but also a chance for you to ask us any questions you might have.

Activities & Shift

You will be teaching 6 to 8 hours a day (morning and afternoon). The teaching doesn't require much planning as the curriculum is already set and it's very straightforward once you've gone through the training. Therefore, you don't need to spend extra time making lesson plans.

Also, you will have short breaks (10 to 15 minutes) in between each hour and you'll have a long lunch break of 2 hours.

The teaching will take place from Monday until Friday. On Saturday mornings we always have discussions with all the volunteers for learning and reflecting purposes.

There is a code of conduct which is important to read before applying. You can find the code of conduct on our webpage: https://www.ahhaeducation.org/volunteer-2020/
under "download terms and conditions".
