Program Details

The farm currently offers the experience and beauty of our farm and warerfalls to guests in exchange for volunteer help. Unlike other farms in Hawaii, we have gone to great trouble to provide excellent facilities for our volunteers. All of our accommodations are good enough to house paying overnight guests and feature comfortable sleeping quarters, properly plumbed toilets and clean modern infrastructure for food preparation. We feel that we provide equitable facilities in exchange for the required 25 hours of help per week. We also don't want to oversell our farm. We offer an outdoors glamping experience, not a resort experience. East Hawaii is not for the faint of heart, and neither is our farm. We live in a part of Hawaii that is still very much wild. The Big Island features active volcanoes, deep tropical jungles, loud coqui frogs, insects and earthquakes.

Activities & Shift

The volunteer work starts promptly at 8AM and ends at 1PM. The rest of the time is yours to do as you please. You will only be required to participate in the volunteer shift 5 days a week, and you will have 2 consecutive days off each week for travel and other activities.
