“Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world Nelson Mandela” Our country, South Africa has many challenges and our education sector is no exception. Only 20% of our state expenditure is allocated to our government education department. Our local network of schools, private and government schools, and other organizations involved in education is extensive.


What you offer

30 hours of help per week

Child Care: Help look after, educate and instruct children.


What you get

2 days off per week

Private Room: You will have a bed in a private room. In other words, a room just for you.

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Dinner: You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.

Discounts on Accommodation: Get discounts for your stay in other hostels.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Free Hiking Tours: We’ll take you on excursions and hikes around town. For free!

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Free Parties: Get free entrance for the best parties in town.

Free Events: Get free entrance for the best events in town.

Pub Crawls: Be a part of our pub crawls at local bars!

Pick Up: We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Yoga classes: Take free yoga classes at our place.

Surf lessons: Take free surf classes at the local beaches.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Fluent English

Over 21 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

Program Details

By understanding your background and motivation that you will submit to
us, we can match you to the ideal internship opportunity for you. Your internship will have different directions, from working as a teacher’s assistant, mentoring students, doing research on the education policies, fundraising and contributing to the
development of the school or centre .
