The Exchange

Be part of a new eco hostel in an amazing location. Pass on knowledge for us to put into practice and also learn new things. Each day of work you will be surrounded by tropical rainforest and beaches.


Title

32 hours of help per week

Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs or building.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

Cooking: Choose the menu, pick ingredients and cook delicious dishes.

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.


What you get

1 day off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Breakfast: You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.

Lunch: You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Free Tours: We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

We have recently opened a new hostel in a unique location. We are trying to make the Hostel as eco friendly as possible, and are wanting to use permaculture techniques. Anyone with experience in permaculture as well as with electrics and or plumbing would be a great bonus, but anyone can apply.


Activities & Shift

Shifts would be for 6 hours per day 5 days per week. Starting time is between 7am and 9am, with an occasional evening or night shift. Although are flexible with our scheduling and will try meet any requests.

Please just respect the place like it is your home, try and keep things as neat and tidy as possible.
