My experience in the hostel was AWESOME!!! They are a really family team. I was confortable working there, they are flexible, nice and good vibes people. I learned Português with my partners there. The spaces are really nice, bedrooms, kitchen, reception, bar, swimming pool, bathrooms, all place is amazing. People there made my experience unforgettable. Thank you so much Dalia and all the staff! You are the best!

I've stayed in many different hostels in Rio and the hostel is undoubtedly one of the best. The location is ideal, on the edge of a granite cliff in a quiet corner of central Copacabana. The bar/patio where I worked are even built into the natural landscape. It's really cool. The facility is well equipped for volunteers and travelers, everyday staff put a lot of attention into keeping things smooth. One of the main reasons i returned to this hostel after staying there as a guest is because of the atmosphere and people it draws, always positive, always energetic. and always good.Check it out!👍

The people were mostly very nice and accommodating. My only complaint was about the room provided for stay. Not very comfortable . As well, it would be nice if they helped to resolve issues and confusions related to the work.

Maybe wasn't the best experience in terms of volunteering, be a Worldpaker means exchang skills for an accommodation, during high season we had some problems with that, but we fixed it; As well I think they should be a little bit more flexible with volunteers hours, just giving some extra days off or a free extra hours when they don't needs us, to let us visiting and join better the city; But afterwards the time spent there was incredibly amazing , I met extraordinary people, we had such a great time as a team. THANKS everyone! owners, managers, staff & WP! ALL OF U ARE JUST AMAZING

The hostel is a very good hostel in Rio: it's clean, close to the beach, in a very nice neighborhood, it offers a lot of services! I spent there one month and I really loved all the other wp (volunteers). We create a wanderful friendship and I'm sure we'll see again! The only bad thing of these hostel was the organization of the owners and of the manager. They don't explain very well what you have to do, but they pretend more than it. Sometimes it seemed like we were really workers with a salary, not just volunteers. The working environment was a little bit heavy and difficult.

It was a great experience for me. The purpose of my trip was to meet people from all around the world and learn portuguese language. So the hostel was the perfect place to stay, it's a really nice hostel, clean and organized, with a beautiful bar where all the guests get together having a good time, drinking beers and the best caipirinhas that Fred and Luisa made. But the most important thing that the hostel has is its staff, they make me feel at home and they help me a lot to learn portuguese.

The 3 weeks I spent at the hostel were amazing, the staff were always friendly, caring and super chilled out. My tasks as a Barman were really easy and enjoyable plus I got the chance to make a lot of new friends and to go out almost every night with them. Since this was my first trip as a Worldpacker I wanted to visit another parts of Brazil apart of Rio de Janeiro and unfortunately I had to leave 3 days before I was supposed to. You get to save a lot of money at the clubs just by being part of the staff of the hostel. Also the staff of BEM Brasil is completely made up of legends! I loved it!
