The Exchange

Looking for someone to work 2-3 days a week in our small plant based take out restaurant just south of Kailua Kona, Hawaii. We serve wraps, salads and cold pressed juice. Tasks include conducting opening and closing procedures, taking orders, and preparing food including juicing. Fun place with a lot of regulars! Great way to get to know the community.

What you offer

25 hours of help per week

Kitchen Hand: Help prepare, finish and serve meals.

4 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Surfboards: You can use our surfboards as much as you want.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.

Program Details

We make the schedule two weeks at a time. You will have entire days off to go explore and hang out. Transportation to and from the restaurant will be made available.

Activities & Shift

There is only one shift a day from about 9 am to 4:30 pm. However, you will only work 2-3 days a week so will have lots of time for other adventures.

This is a pretty standard food service position. The restaurant is a small place with just a walk up window so most business is take out. Will be responsible to take orders, prepare the food. In the morning the cold press juice is made. Clean up before closing.
