The Exchange

We are all trying to adapt and get by in this new normal until things return to the amazing social way they were before. Currently as you can imagine things are much slower at the hostel. We have a trickle of guests and the party has ended. That being said there are still guests and a beautiful city to explore during a different chapter of its life. We welcome all of you. Volunteers can expect 5 shifts of 5 hours per week. Tasks of all sorts.


25 hours of help per week

Cleaning: Help clean the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms and common areas.

Housekeeping: Help with changing the bed linens and general housekeeping.

Reception: Help with check-ins, check-outs and guest assistance.

Gardening: Help grow plants and cultivate gardens

What you get

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You will have a bed in a shared room, which means you will share the same room with other people.

Discounts on Tours: Get discounts for tours and excursions around town.

Free Laundry: You can use our laundry room freely.

Get free drinks or beverages.: Drink up! Get free and tasty drinks for yourself.

Use our equipped kitchen: Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.


Between 20 and 35 years old

Only hosts solo volunteers (doesn’t accept couples or pairs)

What's not included

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa

Program Details

Volunteers live in a dorm with other volunteers.
Since we don't have the guest load we typically do we are doing all kinds of other things around the hostel to keep things pretty and maintained and so that we are ready to open and be beautiful when the world finally gets back to normal.
