The Exchange

The main tasks are: - Give touristic information (we will train you about this!) - Promote and sell tours - Organise and cook nightly activities in the hostel (twice a week normally) - Help in reception with: Organise Check-Ins and Check-outs, show guests around the hostel and to their rooms, help guests store their stuff in the luggage storage and explain our activities and rules - Help other staff learn your language - HAVE FUN!

What you offer

32 hours of help per week

Party Promoter: Help to promote parties and social activities.

Tour Guide: Organize and lead tours around the area.

Cooking: Prepare meals for guests.

2 days off per week

Team Dorm: You're part of a team! Get to know them in your dormitory.

Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.

Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!

Cook your own meal: Feel free to prepare your own meal here

Program Details

You get:
- A bed! (in a staff dorm shared with up to one other person)
- Commissions (paid at the end of the month)
- Buffet Breakfast (Fresh bread, fruit, real coffee, selection of teas, milk, cereals, eggs, butter, jam etc.)
- Lunch (A relatively healthy local meal cooked by the cleaning staff)
- Get to know Santiago (go on local tours courtesy of the hostel!)
- Get to know loads of people (and free entry and drinks in some local bars and clubs!)
- Free accommodation in hostels all over Chile
You give:
Up to 32 hours a week helping out in the biggest and coolest hostel in Santiago!

Activities & Shift

The shifts:
- The shifts are four hours each
- Maximum of two shifts a day
- Two/Three days off a week (when possible consecutive days)


Two rules:
- Turn up for your shift on time in a fit state to work
- Be extremely "Buena Onda"!
