The experience
Older couple readying their farm for sale needs help with fix-up and maintenance of various sorts including weeding, simple building projects and helping to create a family food garden.
What you offer
24 hours of help per week
Handyman:
Help with a wide range of repairs or building.
Gardening:
Help grow plants and cultivate gardens
What you get
3 days off per week
Tent:
You will sleep in a tent at a camping site.
Breakfast:
You are entitled to a free breakfast, every day of your stay.
Lunch:
You are entitled to a free lunch, every day of your stay.
Dinner:
You are entitled to a free dinner, every day of your stay.
Free Tours:
We’ll take you on tours and rides around town. For free!
Pick Up:
We will pick you up when you arrive, and take you to our property.
Use our equipped kitchen:
Feel free to use our kitchen and make your own delicious food.
Requirements
Intermediate English or Beginner Spanish
Between 18 and 40 years old
Accepts solo applications and also couples and pairs

Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
Program Details
4 six hour days will be your contribution in exchange for simple lodging, good (mostly vegeterian) food and cultural tours around the island or as modified. Food for all three meals will be supplied however volunteers will prepare and clean up after meals.
Activities & Shift
We try to start early (7most days) because we usually have sunny mornings and rainy afternoons. We will give you a choice of tasks in an effort to assure you are doing something interesting. Occasional meals with hosts will be offered.
Rules
All volunteers and hosts will be fully COVID-19 vaccinated. We do not tolerate use of tobacco. Moderate alcohol use is OK. Our worker kitchen is to be kept clean and tidy.
