I spent nearly 2 months at Divanga and had the best time ever! The volunteers share a dorm in a house near the hostel (house also shared with the lovely staff). Shifts are 4 hours long, 5 days a week and the work is easy. Taganga is gorgeous and you have a lot of free time to enjoy the beaches and nearby costal towns. Everyone that works at the hostal is so nice, i had a family here and didn’t want to leave. It’s also a great place to improve your Spanish. Un abrazo para Pipe, Alexis, Tomy y Yosse.

We had an OK experience at Divanga. The food the provide was great, work hours were respected and the accommodation was fine. We were kicked out with 10hrs notice and had to scramble to find another place to stay because of “lack of guests”. But I’m sure they knew how many guest were booked for the weekend but still had us travel there then leave after two days. Would be 5 stars if not that situation. Everyone thinks the owner is quite erratic. I say you’ll enjoy this place very much as long as there is work to do and guest flowing.

my experience at divanga was lovely! I worked with so many amazing people from all over the world. Divanga and Taganga are two very unique places and I am so glad I decided to apply here. The volunteers have there own house which I thought was quite nice and hours are short. Shifts are 4 hours long and we get two days off it's great.

The hostel is nice and the people there is very kind. However, for my own personal reasons I had to interrupt my stay there and the owner was very lack-empathic or non-understanding with me.

I had a beautiful experience volunteering at Divanga, I was able to make a lot of friends and connect with local people. Hostess Lucie is a sweetheart and has always treated all volunteers with respect. thank you very much for the reception! I recommend this volunteer to everyone!
