The Experience

It's pretty flexible here. There're a lot of tasks that can be done at any time by individuals and other times when it's great to have a group of people helping on a single endeavor. Some of the things that you might do are harvesting, planting, gardening, brewing and spraying compost tea, mulching, pruning, forestry, farmers markets, running the stand, beekeeping, scarecrows, gathering data, irrigation, mowing, fertilizing, and making biochar.

It was a wonderful experience! Everyone here worked really well together and made space for friendships, growth, and laughter while staying here, dinner gatherings, campfires with some nice tunes, all the chestnuts you can eat, (so yummy) Being outside in nature with the trees, insects, and everything that makes it alive, watching how it all works together and being a part of that was lovely. I'd recommend this place to anyone!!

This the farm/the farm is a good introduction if you'd like to learn about seasonal the farm and the farm production. There are a few things that may need to be clarified and talked with the host Martin upon arrival. I would recommend this farm for couples. Bear in mind, cleaning needs to be done regarding your accomodation/kitchen upon arrival. There are 3 kids and 2 dogs living at the house in the property. Volunteers stay at the barn in different campers or the 1 rustic room upstairs the barn. Communication and transparency could have been better. Best sunrise/sunsets & BLUEBERRIES
