The Experience

We train our quarter horses (AQHA), for Working Cow Horse competition. Work could include catching foals, putting on halter, walking in hand, taking to Patience Pole and return to paddock. With older/more advanced horses they may go in the Exerciser, Round Pen or be Tacked Up to ride in the Arena. Helpful skills: longeing, sacking out, barn clean-up, saddling, picking manure. May also include gardening, cattle herd help.
