We are looking for motivated people who want to live and work at an Eco Farm. We have a hard working mentality and all people do 40 hour work weeks. This counts for employees, volunteers and underpriveliged trainees. Currently we are building cob houses and we expect that next year we will start farming. We follow the permaculture principles.
40 hours of help per week
Painting & Decorating: Help to maintain the appearance inside and outside the building.
Handyman: Help with a wide range of repairs.
Farming: Plant crops and care for animals.
Gardening: Help to grow and cultivate plants.
2 days off per week
Shared Dorm: Be ready to meet people while staying in a shared dorm.
Breakfast: Get your free breakfast, the most important meal of the day.
Lunch: Free lunch is served y'all, get yours!
Dinner: Have your free dinner before going to bed.
Free Laundry: There's a special place where all the clothes get cleaned for free.
Over 21 years old
Flights, Travel Insurance, Internal Transportation and Visa
volunteers will learn skills as cob house building, capentry, green roof, sustainable energy, organic farming and permaculture. Volunteers are also responsible for our underprivileged teenage programme .For us the most criteria for volunteering is motivation, respect and team work. Volunteers who perform well participate in project development to generate their own income. This can be individual or group projects.
day 1: work 8 hours on our bioconstruction projects
day 2 work 4 hours on bioconstruction, 4 hours cook and do school support for our teens
day 3 work 8 hours on our bioconstruction projects
day 4 work 4 hours on bioconstruction, 4 hours to cook and do school support for our teens
day 5: day to work on project development.
We expect people to comply with the 40 hour work week
We do not allow drugs ussage, alcohol abuse and sexual activity at Eco Caminhos.
We offer 2 weeks holidays every 3 months
People are responsible to clean the volunteer house
people who do not respect these rules are asked to leave.
