The Exchange

We are located in the hight mountains of Baru, in the south pacific. You can enjoy nature , take great photos and help with the project of conservation of forest, water and earth resources at Costa Rica. The project is developed close to the main beaches. You can help to preserve the tropical forest.


20 hours of help per week

Photography: Take great photos.

Program Details

The volunteer package is perfect for true nature lovers
We are located in the high mountains of Barú, in the southern pacific of Costa Rica.
On our farm you can walk to the waterfalls, camping, and hiking.
The cost of volunteering is $ 40 per day, including:
Guide for activities and hiking
All times of meals and fruits .
Visit to neighboring agroecological farms
Transportation to our farm and internal transportation to sites of interest (beaches)

Volunteer Schedule are from Monday to Thursday, but if they wish they can stay in the cabins on free days. On your free days you can go to the different beaches of the South Pacific and national parks

Activities & Shift

Plant endemic plants of trees and flowers.
Gardening and planting of vegetables
Sustainable construction and maintenance of trails in the forest.
